Coming up with fun and unique ideas is one of the best parts of my job. I have been wanting to do this fun cookie bite bouquet for quite some time and I was so excited to offer it this spring for Mother’s Day!

Putting together a new product takes more time than one would think. Sourcing products, testing recipes, ensuring everything is packaged just right and then hoping everyone loves it as much as you do. I thought it would be fun to share with everyone what products I used. I think that is half of the struggle when deciding to offer a new product - trying to find the supplies that make your idea become a reality.

Presentation is extremely important to me and if a product doesn’t look (and taste) exceptional then it doesn’t go on my menu. Below are the following supplies I used to put together these lovely edible bouquets:

  • Bakery Box - this size box was just the right size as long as you take the time to position the cookies in a way they don’t stack too high

  • Food Safe Paper - any food safe paper would work, but I used a pink striped paper, which would work for many other holidays and a white food safe paper to wrap the “stems”

  • Bamboo Skewers - these act as the “stem” of the cookie flowers. They will need to be trimmed to size once you assemble the bouquet prior to adding to the box

  • Embellishment - for Mother’s Day I used a simple cake topper that read “Happy Mother’s Day” but don’t forget to take the protective covering off the front and back before adding to your bouquet.
